2011
We were a strategic advisor to Makro China (majority-owned by COFCO) on its turnaround
strategy and later acted as M&A advisor for the sale of Makro China to the Lotte Group in 2011 for over USD 170 million, representing over 100x earnings.
This deal was followed by a mandate from COFCO to assist in the sale of their Dalian hotel.
